Today, the digital world has become the most visible arena of our lives. But
here’s the irony: the more visibility grows, the more the need for privacy
increases. What cannot be said in the main digital chat group is almost
immediately whispered in a smaller "mini group."
This is where digital backdoor diplomacy begins.
Whether it’s a family group, a circle of colleagues, or a community chat… the
official discourse stays in the main group, while the real negotiations and
candid talks move into the side rooms.
In the coming years, this tendency will only
grow stronger. Perhaps a revolutionary development—or a major social event—will
push humanity further in this direction. We may even see dedicated apps built
solely for "backdoor communication": safer, end-to-end encrypted, micro-spaces
visible only to a select few.
And here’s the philosophical layer: no matter how surrounded we are by technology, humans will always need a smaller, safer room to tell the truth. Sometimes that room is a corridor, sometimes a kitchen table, and sometimes just a three-person chat group.
